Issues With Network marketing - #5 Believing That You Can not Succeed When You Can!

I'm the first to admit that the success rates in MLM are pretty low! As many as 90% of people who join the business never make their first check or earn any commissions from their business! That is a quite alarming statistic, but that doesn't mean that you can not succeed. The technique to ensure that you are among the select few who make good money in Multi-level Marketing is really staring you in the face ...

We often hear about the benefits of duplication in Multi-level Marketing, but have you ever stopped to acknowledge that there's also a significant downside to duplication? It is correct that success duplicates, but the issue is that failure duplicates too! If you model people who are unsuccessful and then teach those ineffective methods to your downline, then the probability is fairly high that you will fail and so will your team!

The fastest way to succeed at anything in life is to find people who've attained the things that you desire to achieve and to model the strategy they used to attain them. I knew pretty early on in my MLM career that I didn't want to be cold calling people and to be truthful, I did not really want to go to the same opportunity meetings and training classes week-in week-out! That simply did not seem like a helpful use of my time! I am not knocking these techniques if you have been successful using them, but I personally wasn't particularly keen to build my business in this manner, therefore I had very little inspiration to use these methods.

I desired a home-business. Meaning, I desired to build my business from home and not from a restaurant, or hotel conference room! I wanted to be able to learn to market my business on the web so that interested prospects would contact me, instead of me needing to do all the chasing! Learning how to do this with no Online Marketing experience was never going to be easy, but I was committed to learning exactly how I could achieve it.

Luckily, my research led me to trainers and mentors who were able to teach me the skills that I wanted and required to learn. Therefore, like me, I guess you really have 3 options:

1. You may either continue using the same old-school techniques to build your business, that work for hardly any people (generally people who already have most of the necessary expertise for face-to-face selling)

2. You can teach yourself how to market your business on the internet, generating front-end commissions to fund your marketing efforts, using your time and systems

3. You may follow the suggestions and training of successful Internet Marketers by hunting them down and implementing every single technique that they're willing to teach you!

To recap, I believe that the solution to your success is to follow people who are able to show you ways to get the results that you want. If you continue to follow people who haven't achieved what you want to achieve then your probability of success are fairly low! It's important to be selective when it comes to listening to suggestions as failure duplicates in the same way that success does! Do what unsuccessful people do and you can almost guarantee the same result for yourself!
