Most elderly people are more at-home with the basic model of cellular plans which are traditional. AT&T has many cell phones which provide senior cell phone plans that suit this category though they don't specifically mention the targeted group. The elderly people usually fall under the category of retired citizens who have grown up children and are not much in need of anything but the most basic of plans to meet their simple needs. AT&T has a number of plans that fall in this kind of smaller packages.

Under the Senior Cell Phone Plans comes the Senior Nation 200 plan offers 200 minutes anytime and 500 weekend and night minutes and also unlimited calls from mobile to mobile. All this is offered at only $29.99 per month. There is no charge for long distance calls and even if the customer is roaming, there is no additional charge. If one uses more than the allotted time then an additional charge of 45 cents is made per minute and of course there is a contract to be signed.

The AT&T PanTech Breeze is another of the senior Cell Phone plan which offers a clear speakerphone with a loud volume. The buttons are large and well spaced for easy dialing. There are also three quick call buttons that can be programmed for easy dialing. The menus are very simple and the fonts are large. Apart from these basic features, it also offers some additional features that make it a better senior cell phone plan.

The above senior Cell phone plan also has a VGA quality camera in the cell phone. Other features provided are messaging text and downloading of games. You can also set the ringtone of your choice and select the kind of wallpaper you want on your phone. Messages can be sent with pictures as well as sound. This senior cell phone plan comes with a two year contract and is very suitable for the older generation.

The AT&T Nokia 6085 comes with a basic keypad which can be used along with TTY and hearing aids. It has a speaker phone, and voice dialing along with menus that are voice driven. Internet browsing, multimedia messaging, digital camera and an MP3 player are provided. When you buy the plan, the phone comes free.
